The doctors of the Department diagnose and treat vascular diseases of nervous system - cerebral infarction, hemorrhagic stroke, transient brain disorders, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer's disease, peripheral neuropathies, facial neuralgia, neck, chest and back dorsopathies, sleep disturbances and headaches. Diagnostic methods include CT, angiography of cerebral vessels, lumbar puncture, electroencephalography and Doppler of extracranial vessels.

1986 - internship majoring in Neurology.
1989 - courses “Vertebral diseases of the nervous system. Basics of manual therapy” and “Eye biomicroscopy with basics of iridology” in Kazan, a course of cranial and visceral manual therapy in Moscow.
Author of 8 scientific publications in major medical journals.
Since 1980 he has been working in hospitals and research institutes of Georgia as an emergency doctor, neurologist.
